Mr. Revuelta was former president of European Regions Research and Innovation Networks, and has extensive experience in European projects in the field of sustainability: LIFE+ programmes, energy, eco-innovation, Horizon 2020, among others.

Since 2010, Mr. Revuelta has been Director General of the Finnova Foundation (Supporting and promoting the financing currents of the European Union in the areas of environment, water, health, public works, energy , tourism, ICT and entrepreneuship). 

Finnova currently manages the largest Interreg project in terms of volume (€24.5M European fund), in the field of forest management, climate change and innovation in fire fighting and prevention.
